Highlight of the evening is the high energy Bhangra Empire! It’s the very same group that performed at the Whitehouse at the Obama administrations first state dinner in honor of Manmohan Singh’s visit.

As the rest of us are stomping along, Bhangra will make way to lively beats of Dhol to get even the laggards in the mood to dance away the night with our acclaimed DJs.

And what is a Golden Jubilee celebration without going down the memory lane! Relive IITK life through the decades with our very own Anil Gupta's montage of nostalgic numbers and a talent show by alumni kids. After that refreshing montage, enjoy the Love Beats songs by noted performer Ashish Mehra.

Saturday night is anchored by Indian Ocean. The band that has perfected their blend of original music ranging from rocking political anthems to meditative spiritual ballads. These memorable melodies with compelling rhythms is guaranteed to bring you to your feet and inspire the mind and soul.

Complementing the Indian Ocean performance will be a variety show including comedy of Rajiv Satyal, Bollywood dance performance by the Mona Sampath Dance Company and Tara Priya’s “bluesy-pop”.
