Rajeev Motwani Mentorship Award

Mentorship is one of the core ingredients of success. Appropriate, trusted guidance for any individual given consciously or unconsciously has defined the career and path of many successful people. Rajeev generously gave his time and energy to students, entrepreneurs and researchers, selflessly. His mentorship was one that was defined by a focus on the well being and success of people around him with practical worldly wisdom. He opened up his knowledge and network to people that enabled them to grow both individually, and in groups.

This annual award recognizes those individuals who have demonstrated mentorship to others in a way that is selfless, focused on the mentee and creating value for not just one but several mentees over long periods of time. The impact also benefits the ecosystem as these mentees achieve demonstrable success. Nominees could be entrepreneurs that have started enterprises, or helped with careers in corporations/universities, or with technology, business or social innovation, amongst others.
