Networking

As participants, you will enjoy great opportunities to connect with other IIT'ians and non-IIT'ian attendies. The agenda has been designed to facilitate interactions between attendees across batches and functional domains. There is ample time in the agenda for mingling with your friends and batch mates, particularly on Friday evening.

Tools to check out other attendees before the event and reach out to them will be made available to registered attendees.

Alumni Batch Renunions

Don't wait to get started. Here are some specific steps you need to take right now:

1. Talk to your IIT-K friends and batch mates across the country (and the world) and motivate them to come to our wonderful part of the country. If these are friends you already talk to on a regular basis, make this a particular topic to bring up at your next meeting. If these are friends you have not talked to in a while--why, this is the perfect reason to pick up the phone or send them an email or two.
2. Contact us on the Golden Jubilee organizing committee - we can connect you to others in your batch so you can broaden the net of alumni to invite. We can help you with emails and other contact information, and put you in touch with others in your batch who are registering for the convention.
3. Do let us know what we can do during the convention to make your reunion fun--from suggesting specific activities (lets go raid Hall 3), to meeting logistics (special areas set aside to allow you to find long lost friends), and games that would pull in your spouses or kids.

Remember that this convention is all about celebrating and reconnecting with each other.  This is a unique opportunity to build ourselves a stronger alumni body. And it will be the one time when a large number of batches will be able to come together in one place.

Do not wait for others in your batch to take the lead! Do it yourselves, and start now.
